Breastfeeding
& Lactation
Breastfeeding Benefits mom and Baby!
Breastfeeding is an important part of motherhood and at the same time can be very challenging, overwhelming and trying. We are here to help!
We have a few options, services and program for mothers to help guide and assist them throughout their breastfeeding journey.
As many studies have shown, when a human baby receives human milk, they have lower risk of common illnesses for American babies. As noted in a 2022 report by the CDC, infants who are breastfed have reduced risks of Asthma, Obesity, Type 1 diabetes, and Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the World Health Organization (WHO), recommend exclusive breastfeeding for approximately 6 months, followed by continued breastfeeding with complementary foods for at least 2 years and beyond as mutually desired.
