About the Role
Doulas provide informational, emotional, and physical support to the client and her personal birth team throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum phases. They offer Birth and Postpartum services to program participants either in person or via telehealth. Doulas are expected to adhere to the program's expectations, standards, and guidelines of Calming Nature Doula Service and Center, CNDSC.
Requirements
Must be a NYS Medicaid Credentialed Doula or have attended at least 25 birth and be willing to enroll in NYS Medicaid as a provider.
Must be very flexible
Must be willing to travel between multiple Counties
Must be confident and comfortable mentoring a student doula for appointments and births.Â
Must have the capacity and willing to handle a case load of 2 clients per month
